The UrNet community developed a list of key academic references  to help  researchers looking for an overall multidisciplinary introduction on urban resilience better frame the concept of and clarify its multifaceted nature. After much brainstorming, we distilled a shortlist of what we believe to be the most representative, clear, and exhaustive contributions from different disciplinary areas.

This list was last updated in 2016. It is no longer being actively maintained, but remains available as a foundational resource.
